Ainsley is an Auror who is strategic and calculated, and because of this she is good to have as backup. She is very analytical and her background as Healer makes her valuable as she can help wounded and the likes. These qualities can also be found in her personal life, where her perfectionism and need to have a plan makes it difficult to get close to her.

History

Ainsley was born in London, to Ryan and Catherine O’Neal. Ryan was a police officer and Catherine a doctor. When Ainsley got the letter from Hogwarts her parents had been rather sceptic to say the least, and it took the sight of a floating teacup, courtesy of a witch send to convince Mr and Mrs O’Neal, to actually make them believe in magic.

When Ainsley went to Hogwarts she was put in Ravenclaw, and spent five unremarkable years studying tenaciously. Ever since she had been sentient her mother had indoctrinated her in all things medical, in the hopes of her oldest daughter would follow in her footsteps. Trouble started in her sixth year, when Voldemort rose to power. It was only because of the help from three other Muggle-born students she avoided being taken by the Snatchers and sent to Azkaban or killed. They fled together and spend most of the year in hiding, constantly dodging Snatchers and Death Eaters. In March one of the people she escaped with told them that he had been called back to Hogwarts. Ainsley followed him and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts.

She returned to Hogwarts to complete her sixth and seventh year, and immediately moved on to train to become a healer. She worked on the fourth floor for six years, until she just couldn’t do the same thing anymore. Ainsley, who’d always though she was meant to be a Healer, suddenly didn’t know what to do. And then she remembered the months on the run and the Battle of Hogwarts. She promptly gave her letter of resignation, and after two months she started as an Auror Trainee. She completed her three years of training and had just been promoted to a full-fledged Auror, as she was put in St. Mungo’s for almost two months. She was helping a fellow Auror apprehend a suspected WBA member when she was hit by a curse and fell into a coma for almost three weeks. She then had to spend two months on the same floor of St. Mungo’s she had worked on, before she could be cleared. Luckily the curse did not do any lasting damage.
