Little is known about Sebastien. Born to a British mother and a German father, he was left in his mother's care after their separation, and then in his grandparents' after her death; she died when he was very young.

As a halfblood with little family connections to rely on, Sebastien often drifted between the Dregs and Zufreiden because of a quiet but rebellious attitude. He did very well in Spellworks, eventually making a name for himself as a capable fighter, although he harbored a secret appreciation for art.
