| summary | Wikitext | Over the winter break, Aileen Reid created an optional challenge for all students taking Runes. The challenge will began when the students returned in January 2010, and it lasted until around May. In the back of the Runes classroom, Aileen posted official clues. Each month, a new clue will replace the previous one. The first student(s) who solved the challenge in May were rewarded with extra credit points and a surprise. The specific amount of extra credit was left vague on purpose; however, it did not turn a failing grade into an Outstanding. Students attempted to solve the challenge on their own or in a group. Working in a group meant that the extra credit points was distributed among the participants, and Aileen did not specify whether this will occur evenly. |
