|summary=In the Summer of 2008, potionsmaker [[Dazmond Wiedman]] was hired as a live-in alchemist for an old Wizard calling himself [[Kronos Malvivicus]]. Sealed inside an enchanted cave on Staffa Island (in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland), [[Dazmond Wiedman|Dazmond]] soon realized that the eccentric and elegant [[Kronos Malvivicus|Kronos]] had no intention of letting her go -- ever. Dazmond uses her potions abilities to escape the confines of the cave, returning to London after three and a half months with nine-hundred galleons, sixty sickles, twenty-three knuts, an unmarked potions vial, little memory of the exchange, and no wand. As events unravel in the aftermath, it becomes increasingly clear that something is amiss in the Wizarding underworld.

This effectively destroys the bulk of her memory about her Summer "vacation" when she snaps her own wand to break the spell that binds her in. She also brews a volatile counter-potion that will restore her memory, but at a cost. She swam for miles and clambered up rocks and a few days later found her way back home with the shadow of a mystery clinging to the air around her.''
