She knew he was trying to insult her, but she couldn't help giggling a little when Casey mentioned kicking a dark lord as a toddler, "N-no, a-actually," she made a small grimace, "I s-sorta thought I c-could fl-fly, and I climbed a tr-tree and e-ended up falling into a r-rusted wh-wheelbarrow." She glanced at the ground, "I wish it were from something as cool as kicking a dark lord in the face... That would have been epic." She dragged her toe across the carpet idly.
"Well, of course." she'd read about vampires in a few different books, along with werewolves, and all sorts of other magical creatures. She didn't know much, but she knew the basics on them. "R-regardless, in the event of-of me being t-turned, I doubt I would see the v-vampire's blood."
"I-I c-can't h-help my st-stutter." she whimpered. At least he didn't seem to remember the instances where nothing came out, she thought.
