Too late, Figaro leapt out of his seat upsetting the chess game. Rooks and bishops scattered and a little boy escaping his babysitter were barely noticed adjacent to the rowdy row that had escalated. He wasn't ready with his wand and before he could get within arm's reach Dante had disappeared in a deluge of green fire.
He swore, his life flashing before his eyes.
He'd lost Queen G's son. There'd be a queue to kill him and the intense woman with the stabby high heels would be first followed shortly by Barnabas Cuffe and now, quite likely, Dante's Azkaban-hardened former Auror father. The only part of the address Figaro heard was 'Godric's Hollow'. He put his hands in his hair, staring at the smoldering hearth his mind blanking.
Realizing he had no choice, he grabbed the Floo powder and sent himself to simply, "Godric's Hollow!"
