"Ninety-five percent? Big number."

"I know my own mind." Nicholas never considered himself the jealous type.  But he left himself a little room to be wrong. "Funny neither one of us wanted to scare them off, and yet we are both single now anyways."  Nicholas hadn't tried that, but then again the bedroom, and living room and bathroom and kitchen (sorry, Virgil), hadn't been their problem.

"Sometimes it puts me to sleep.  We just talked about this!"  Nicholas sighed before biting the rest of the popsicle off the stick and tossing it into the trash.  "it is hot." He agreed as he moved toward the living room.  "Everything, huh?"

Not quite funny-ha-ha that they were both single despite their attempts. But Virgil laughed anyway, turning the music up - it was a muggle station that he had been listening to earlier. You had to give the muggles some credit. They made enchanting music without magic.

       "Everything, huh?"

He turned round to smile at Nick, unable to help a brief appraisal of his flatmate. There was never any harm in admiring.

"Almost everything," Virgil amended with a theatrical curtsy as the song burst into its chorus. "Let's dance!"

And they did. A different kind of dancing from The Closet - the kind of silly, senseless dancing that could only happen in the messy living rooms of little flats hosting drunken wizards on a Sunday night. For all his skepticism, Virgil did think it was healing.
