Physical Description:
Charles stands at 5'7'' and is still growing. He's skinny, lanky and awkward. He has a lion mane of long black layered hair that hides his dark brown monolided eyes. His skin is a soft tan color, and he's normally seen smiling or smirking at something.

He wears a lot of loud colors and patterns, and also enjoys wearing skirts and dresses because of the attention it gets him. His nails are usually painted, poorly, to match his outfits. One would remark that his style is 'androgenous', and it can be hard to tell his gender at first glance.

Charlie has a few shitty stick and pokes on his right arm. One of them a crappy smiley face he did to himself because he was bored. You'll see him with a nicked unlit cigarette in his mouth because he thinks it looks cool. He doesn't actually enjoy the taste of nicotine or likes smoking anything. He's told people he smoked gillyweed to look cool.

Personality Description:
Park Soonho has a loud external exterior, but is generally quiet and subdued when you get to know him. He's likely to defer to older folks, and authority figures. He's easily described as a 'sheep' and struggles with a lot of guilt and shame for his clothing preferences. His parents assume that he was brainwashed by the young people at Hogwarts, although he would state otherwise. He just likes what he likes.

As he's coming into his own, he's found a subculture he wants to embody and has tried on the 'punk' attitude. Not giving a shit has given him more confidence, and made him less of a target to bully.

Charlie's always up for a bad idea. Be it underaged drinking, smoking, ditching classes, or causing a ruckus in class, just because. He's got a penchant for trouble, being repressed and shipped around like cargo his whole life. It doesn't help that he's ahead on the material and feels bored a lot of the time.

Charlie is also pretty insecure like most teenagers his age. He gets louder and rowdy when he's embaressed and doesn't like admitting he needs help. If not loud and rowdy, he's apathetic and acting 'depressed' and 'repressed'. He considers himself a punk, and has aspirations to become a singer among other things.

History:
Park Soonho was born to a squib mother and muggle father. His father works in the finance sector and his mother has worked part-time jobs. His mother, being a fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, gave her son the English name Charles.

At three years old, SoonHo moved to Seoul, South Korea where he lived with paternal grandparents. He attended an International Private preschool and elementary school from 4-9 years old because his parents wanted to make sure he was bilingual and didn't become "too western". He attended a Hagwon[1] and focused his studies in English and Math. His first two years, he lived in the country with his sister, Nabi[2], before she went back to the United Kingdom to live with their parents.

SoonHo's early life was pretty sheltered. He spent all of his time between school, the Hagwon, and extracurricular activities. Among the extracurricular activities, he learned how to play the piano and vocal classes. His father's family is comfortably well-off.

His mom was concerned that Soonho would also be a squib like herself, when he didn't show a natural inclination to magical spellcasting. She hadn't heard of any 'odd' accidents like she had with his older sister while she lived with their grandparents.

After SoonHo's 10th birthday he moved back to the United Kingdom[3] to live with his parents. Though his mother was a squib, both of her children had magical powers and went to Hogwarts. His dad was not surprised because he was aware that his wife had never completely left the magical world. At this time, his sister had gone to Hogwart as a Ravenclaw, and his parents expected as much from him. They were disappointed to find out he was sorted into Hufflepuff.

His first two years at Hogwarts were overshadowed by his sister's existence. She oversaw his schooling and kept him from having too much fun. He had an acrymonious relationship with her.

When his sister left Hogwarts, SoonHo began going by, "Charlie". He found 'punk music', started exploring his self expression and found himself wrapped up with the other troublemakers at the school. He does well enough in his classes, although he could do better if he applied himself more. It can be accurately speculated that he doesn't apply himself because it makes his parents mad.

He has a tumultuous relationship with his parents and older sister who don't understand him.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Charlie is hard-working at being a pretentious shit. He has a strong desire to be "cool" and he's impartial about who he hangs out with. Charlie's naturally friendly, dedicated and loyal to his friends. He values fairness in the classroom and will be the first one to point out someone is being stuck-up.

Despite his outward presentation, they're dedicated to their education and understand the material. He has a mind for arithmancy and has aspirations to go to Knareswick among the five other careers. He just doesn't want to admit he still likes school, and purposefully answers things wrong or doesn't turn in assignments to piss his parents off.
