"See that you do," Knox Greyfriar replied sharply. He was marginally relieved, but by no means was this an escape from this blackmailer or what Knox had done - had been doing.

He had no room in his mind to make further analysis of Atticus Roark and his demeanor or intentions. Upon the scantest reflection Knox would deem his calm and detached demeanor for some psychopathy over kindness.

He snapped his fingers then. "Brilly!" he barked for a house elf. It wasn't something he normally did, call upon the services of the strange uncomfortable beings, but their capabilities and loyalty were unmatched for errands like these. A sleepy-eyed elf with tall ears appeared and Knox gestured at Atticus. "See him out. Straight to the gates. Don't be seen."

Then to Atticus. "Don't come to Hogwarts again."

Atticus turned to watch Knox as he spoke. The conversation certainly could've gone worse. He would do what he could to help the man because he believed him to be good, in spite of this business. If he hadn't been hired on for this, somebody else would've - this is what he told himself when the guilt began to surface. He was the instrument of blackmail, not the perpetrator.

He stood up and nodded to the Headmaster. It was best he continued to keep his mouth shut. When the elf appeared and was instructed to escort him out, he followed without another word.

"Banned from Hogwarts twice now, Brilly." He said with a chuckle as the two exited the castle and headed towards the gates. "Even then, somehow I don't think this will be the last time I see it." He added without much thought. For now, he had to get the Headmaster some time.

He nodded to the elf as they reached the gates and he went through them. After a moment, a loud crack filled the air and the young wizard vanished.
