Lenora was... anxious to say the least. She had been surprised when Eli agreed to help
[1] create some kind of distraction so that she could nab some coveted points for the seventh year bucket challenge. Eli might have made out in a professor's office- but Nora was determined to go big or go home and get the fifty points for snogging in Storm's office- and she intended to get it early on in the year before their plan got found out or before there was a huge surge of couples hooking up in professor's offices.
She had asked Marco about it. She and Marco were friendly enough, and she had hoped he would be daring enough to try it. Gryffindors were competitive, daring, and reckless- so it seemed a good fit. Besides, Marco was a fairly good looking guy. So she would get to enjoy herself while earning the points.
It wasn't long after dinner. A lot of students were milling about. Lenora had a tight grip on the Gryffindor's hand. She nodded at Eli. Her brother. Ever dramatic, ever amazing at creating distractions. She didn't wait to see what he did- Lenora didn't really want to know- but there was a huge commotion on the ground floor in a matter of minutes. She heard shouts about Linus and a frog... From the sound of thing, Eli had decided not only to enlarge it to dangerous proportions but also to help it
multiply. Once the damage was done, her brother ran up to the first floor. Lenora and Marco followed- a few steps behind. There were still shouts from the ground floor. Moments later, he had roused Professor Storm from his office
[2] and the two were heading back down the stairs toward the commotion on the ground floor.
"Now's our chance!" Lenora hissed. As soon as Storm was well out of the way, Lenora and Marco slipped through the Defense classroom. The door to his office was closed. She closed her eyes as she twisted the handle- but it gave way. Commotion had distracted him enough to prevent his locking it.
The Ravenclaw dragged her Gryffindor friend through the door and shut it. Her heart was racing wildly as she glanced around his office. This was academic and social suicide. She knew it was. If they got caught she'd get a million detentions and not only that but her parents would kill her. Worth it, though, Lenora decided quickly. Worth it for the challenge and living an exciting last year at Hogwarts. "I'm not sure how long we have," Nora told Marco. "But Eli said he'd do his best to keep the distraction going."
She twisted her hands, a pained expression on her face. She was excited but terrified. "These might be our last moments alive. We might not ever graduate if he catches us in here. Sure you're ready for this? Because we have time to back out now if you want to."
