After a rough 30 minutes wherein Slytherin gave up 40 points to Ravenclaw's seven shots on goal, Beathers Slant and Hoult took control of the bludgers and didn't let Ravenclaw back into the match.  Over the next half hour, Slytherin bludgers dismounted four Ravenclaw players.  One of the dismounted players was Chloe Harris, Ravenclaw captain, who was taken out of the game with a badly blown out shoulder.  This aggressive defense from Slytherin gave their chasers O'Doherty, Tawse, and Strelnikov to land two quaffles against Ravenclaw.  This was enough of a wake-up call to Ravenclaw that the eagle's rallied another two goals in fifteen minutes.  After that, the battle for the midfield dominated both teams until Slytherin Seeker Erin Harper made a fantastic dive through Slytherin's goal posts to snatch the snitch, ending the match.
