The Gryffindor vs Hufflepuf match began with a minor accident this week, when Gloria Gibbons collided magnificently with one of her fellow Chasers in trying to catch the Quaffle. Neither were seriously harmed, giving the teams plenty of time to get into worse scrapes. For instance, even though Sellaphix was quick with the Bludgers, he wasn't quick enough to avoid blocking a goal with his face resulting in a bloody nose. None of the injuries sustained during the game kept the players from continuing.

Captain Almasy was on her game as keeper and managed to fly away with only bruises after crashing into a goal post. The game unravelled rapidly when the Hufflepuff Seeker Heliotrope LeJean grazed one of the spectator towers, giving ó Fearghail a chance to seize the snitch. Madame Hooch called end of game at 40-190.
