She began a cursory investigation into why Runespoors are back in Britain. But it turned out to just be the tip of the tail of an incredibly dangerous, many headed smuggling mystery. Living runespoors are being smuggled into the country, exposing the public to incredibly dangerous magical creatures. They are being bred illegally and then sold for parts. Venom, fangs, scales, skin and livers - all being sold for ends that can be nothing other than vile. Seeking and finding these black market connections is dangerous for everyone involved and the casualties continue to stack...until things finally go quiet during Summer 2009. |
