Persepolis, a self-assured servant of wizarding kind, believes Great Britain and Ireland and its wizarding people need a new era of leadership, and so she plans to replace Marcus Annwyl as Minister of Magic.
The format will follow the Ministry of Magic structure we've established as A.O. canon, so Wizengamot Elders could certainly be involved, and anyone from Annwyl's administration.
Things have been very rocky for Hogwarts. The murder of Ava Grosvenor on the grounds, and the resulting Auror presence. Not only that, but Analiza Snark is planning a TetraWizard Tournament for the coming school year. Persepolis visits Hogwarts on a fairly routine schedule, but this time she has extraordinary news: She plans to pursue Minister for Magic, and she needs Snark on her side.
Perspolis meets with Griffon Manley to attempt to secure his support. As the Head of a highly influential and politically relevant department, his support would be vital.
Politics is never totally squeaky clean, and Persepolis will need support of purebloods if she's to have any chance. She seeks council and gold from Amarantha Lestrange.
After some posturing and preparations, the Daily Prophet releases an official announcement that Zephyr will seek the Wizengamot's approval to be the next Minister of Magic.
As she begins to build support in the Wizarding community, on of her first points of contact is the controversial student group SAWS. Whether or not Fauna Blake is the official leader, Persepolis contacts her by owl to arrange a gathering. Both to curry some favor in the student population, but also to see if the group is of any real significance.
Herschel Reid and Persepolis visit Hogwarts School as they discuss the important issues surrounding the TetraWizard Tournament. Persepolis is quite keen to use the event as a large feather in her cap for her campaign.
Persepolis, a great lover of fine divination magic, begins to seek out some expertise. She starts at one of Hogwarts School's former Seers, Cillian Cuthbert.
Persepolis finally gains the Wizengamot support she needs to officially become a nominee for Minister of Magic. She goes before the gathered Wizengamot and petitions for her required seven nominations.
