After the mysterious disappearance of Headmistress Snark, Hogwarts must again face the question of allowing werewolves at Hogwarts. Not only does Olivia Foley wish to return, but an 11-year-old has been cursed.

Alexandra McGee is rushed to St. Mungo's by her family and friend Alice Hunter. She's been attacked by a werewolf and her future isn't looking very bright. Healer in Training Kale Ferris must tend to the injuries himself.

Headmaster Reid calls on the McGee residence in Suffolk to speak with Alexandra and her family about what it will take for her to come to Hogwarts, as expected before her tragic attack.

A few days later, Herschel makes the same sort of house call to the Foleys to speak to Olivia about returning to Hogwarts at long last.
