One of the owners of Lapin, London's arguably best – and quite possibly only – gay werewolf club for werewolves. When she isn't visiting her sister, friends, and colleagues, she is a professional dominatrix at The Jungle.
Physical Appearance
From afar, Tineke appears as a slim, well-dressed witch of dark coloring and fashionable taste in pencil skirts and dresses; although she favors modest cuts, she loves color and geometric patterns. A short bob only highlights her features and complements her attire. The result, most agree, is a confident, capable looking career witch who is exactly where she expected and wants to be at this point in her life. The calm she exudes simply by standing off to the side, observing things from a small pocket of peace and quiet, has become her trademark.
Scenes are a slightly different story. Though she trades her skirts and dresses for shiny leather and heels that bring her just inches shy of six feet, her demeanor does not change; if anything, it is amplified. She might not have Veela charm, but that doesn't make others any less eager to please.
History
- Half-Dutch from her father's side, African-mestizo from her mother's. They divorced when she was five (1973). Two years later her mother remarried a businessman from Colombia and eventually had Kariña. They were happy until one of his business dealings went south and both sisters were bitten, their father dead.
- When his support for the Peruvian communist terrorists came to light, Tineke's father took them and their mother in and brought them to London. In due time they were enrolled in Hogwarts. Studious, disciplined, and highly intelligent, Tineke took to Charms, Potions and Herbology, though she pursued a career in neither. Fascinated by what she deemed to be the “finer” arts of sex and pleasure – two things she had learned to distinguish – she immersed herself in the culture and utilized her talents to exceed expectations – particularly her own.
- Kariña, however, had not adjusted to her new life as well as Tineke had, and so by her third year she and their mother moved back to Colombia, where she was enrolled at Ledesma. Established and comfortable where she was, Tineke stayed behind and continued to focus on her professional life… as well as her quiet efforts for werewolf rights. When public perception only soured after the war, she doubled her efforts and began using her influence outside of scenes to their advantage. Although things did not significantly improved, they did not worsen either.
- In 1999, Tineke opened up her own club once she had the funds to do so and named it The Jungle. Werewolves – both registered and unregistered alike – were offered a haven as well as a place to work. Those for whom neither the kinks nor lifestyle were to their tastes, were offered opportunities behind the scenes in management.
- Between 2004 and 2005, Tineke met Evelyn Kane. In 2007, she was offered a share in joint ownership of Lapin.
Fun Facts
- She has invented at least three kinds of lubricant (one for leather care) and a special salve for aftercare.
