The Closet

The Closet is a gay wizarding night club that can be found in Muggle London, Soho.

Club Info

The club may be accessed from two different points in Soho. Newcomers usually come through a tiny 24-hour bookshop (neon signs and illicit reading material, called Frisky Business) where entry is granted, if you ask the right questions. Regulars and employees typically head straight for a nondescript door at the end of a warded alleyway, deeper in this heady part of town.

Opening Hours

On weekdays, The Closet opens its doors and dance-floor at 2100 hours. They do not begin herding patrons out until 0400 hours the next morning. The club will open much earlier on weekends, when binge-drinking is bound the begin not long after one's dinner or supper. It closes at 0500 on weekend mornings.

Clientele

Due to its location in a muggle area - and its innocuous name - The Closet is known as a safe space for young, closeted gay wizards/witches to frequent. For many just out of Hogwarts, this is a fashionable go-to clubbing spot. It also plays host to a community of regulars who visited since their youth, and who now attend as an occasional indulgence.

Events

Karaoke and Trivia nights occur on a monthly basis. These events are especially attractive to patrons who are less comfortable on the dance floor, and who wish to have fun or socialise without having to get drunk.
