Tell-Tale Tincture
The Tell-Tale Tincture is an alcohol-based magic potion enchanted to pull dark magic and other corruption from a wound.
One of its common uses is to treat a Vampire Bite. It is not recommended in treatment of Runespoor Venom Burn.
Appearance
The tincture itself is crystal clear, perhaps slightly shimmery. It dries into a pale yellow film. It turns an inky black when it takes in dark magic.
Effects and Duration
There are two main ways to use the tincture.
First, applied with gauze or poultice to the surface of a wound and held in place for a duration of time. The poultice should be checked and changed frequently.
The tincture can also just be wholesale dumped on a wound. Any tainted tincture must be carefully removed after the flushing.
It doesn't normally sting.
Regulation and Skill Level
Difficult to make, easy to use, unregulated. A staple in any Healer's kit.
