Widow of Celestine St. Murfordt and father of Kiana and Kale Ferris.
Born in Ireland to an ex-soldier named Anthony Ferris and housewife Charlotte Carslyle. Sean's parents divorced when he was young and the boy was often torn between his macho and domineering father and his gentle but smothering mother. His father pushed him to hunt and camp and play sports while his mother encouraged him to cook and garden. He had a rather confusing and conflicted childhood and turned to animals, who he felt he could trust. It became his lifelong obsession.
His father didn't approve of him being a wizard while his mother was encouraging of his talent, unfortunately, Sean ended up living with his father when his mother moved to America. Thankfully the school managed to convince Anthony that Sean needed the lessons to keep his 'outbursts' from hurting others. Anthony made Sean swear to join the muggle military, like him, after school ended. Before this could be realized, Anthony died from a heart attack when Sean was in his final year. Since he was an adult, Sean chose not to move to America. Instead, he got a job at the MoM in the DoRCMC and married his Hogwarts sweetheart Celestine.
When the muggle registration act was beginning to pick up traction, Sean and Celestine took their children and Omar, Celestine's disabled father, to America to live with her family, the Petembers, in Lousisana. There Sean would study under local magizoologists to perfect his craft. When Celestine died, Sean was heartbroken but managed to remain strong. He took his family back to England where he got a job on a Magizoology ranch in Surrey, where he impressed the owner so much that it was willed to him when he died. Sean worked there for many years until recently, when he decided he needed a change. With both kids out of the house, he closed the ranch and took a job in Brazil, working for a wealthy Abraxan breeder as his personal Magizoologist.

Interesting Facts: Taught Kia about dragon wrangling by helping her take down a Peruvian Vipertooth. The dragon was unharmed (he wasn't killing them, but helping capture an escaped one) and it lost a tooth that Kia still wears as a pendant to this day.
