Sarah Brown is a Graduate (Class of 2010) Gryffindor.
Physical Description
Sarah is a slim and tender girl, with few to no curves, which she hates about herself. She would probably call herself the least feminine girl on Hogwarst, just because of her lack of curves. She is rather tall as well for a girl, 5'2" inches to be precise. All together she sees herself as a tall freak. She has tried to fix it, for example eat more, a lot more, but found herself not gaining a pound. This is simply the body she has to work with.
She is not really insecure though, as she loves her face and long brown hairs. She has the feeling this sort of lifts up he lack of curves, skinny body and tall height. He hair hangs to her waist, which is perfectly straight. She lets it hang loose a lot, even though she also loves to put it up in a ponytail. The color of her hair is a dark, hazelnut brown.
Her face is long as well, with a rather high forehead. Her eyes are a tad big, and also have the deep brown color. He nose and pointy lips fit her face perfectly. When Sarah smiled, which she used to do a lot before the tragic death, her whole face would light up, just as when she looks sad her whole face shows it. Sarah never smiles anymore though, at least, not genuine. Maybe sometimes to manipulate people around her.
The last rare thing are the three tattoos she bears on her body. After her boyfriend, the love of her life and best friend passed away she went to a muggle tattoo shop in London to get them, one by one.
One is two feathers on her lower left arm, as a symbol for them two and how they were.
The second one has the saying 'Love is Enough' on her lower right arm, near the inner elbow.
The last one, and the most special one, is a swallow bird above her left breast, just under her left collarbone. This was because his patronus was a swallow. This way she has the feeling he is always with her, even though he is not anymore.
Her clothing style, along with the disappearing of the smile, changed as well. Where she would wear cute, perky outfits at first she now wears comfortable clothes, which all stand out. She wears big sweatshirt, t-shirts with print and skinny jeans. Her favorite shoes are vans and her belts are all studded. In her ear she mostly wears star earrings.
The one thing that never changed though is the red ring around her finger. The ring she got for their second anniversary. He had picked the red with gold one because it matched their house colors: Gryffindor. When he passed away everything might have changed, the ring looks weird in the middle of it all, but she would never ever take it off.
All together Sarah really is an appearance. Whenever she walks by you would always look again, just to see it all better.
Personality Description
After her boyfriend died from an brain hemorrhage last year Sarah became a very dark girl which you would get an eerie feeling from whenever you would get close to her. Her eyes portray a sort of pain that makes you feel sorry for her, even though she would never want that from you. In fact, she would do anything in her power to not make you feel that way about her. She does not want your pity or attention, just for all of them to leave her alone. She tries to achieve this by being as ignorant as she can possibly be, not caring for anything or anyone anymore.
She has the feeling that she has already lost everything important to her in life, so nothing bothers her anymore. As they say: your biggest enemy is the one that has nothing to lose, which fits Sarah perfectly. She would do anything you would think of, not thinking about the consequences, simply because she does not care about the consequences.
Before she turned into such a grim girl she was actually very friendly and open. She was a typical Gryffindor, with some minor flaws like not working as hard for school as she should have or being a tad too vein. She had a couple of good friends and was overall was liked. She did make some enemies as well, but always tried to fix it where she could. As it seems she has become the complete opposite of that. A transformation no one held possible before.
Sarah drinks a lot as well, trying to smooth the sharp edges that she feels every day. The pain of missing her love is so immense she sometimes wonder how she is even able to get up every morning. She mocks almost everyone, tries to find pleasure in things that are not fun at all, since the funny things just are not ‘fun’ anymore to her. At this point she would better fit Slytherin than Gryffindor.
Sarah rolls her eyes a lot as well, showing everyone that what they are telling does not interest her and they should better shut up. She has turned to the dark side of things, being rather interested in the Dark Arts. Sarah has no goal in life anymore, she just does. She now follows Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions and Transfiguration, not knowing what to do with it later.
Sarah enjoys manipulating people around her to let them to as she wishes. She will put on big eyes, a fake smile and get a flirty behavior. This worked for her once when she did not get her way, and since then she loved doing it.
History
Sarah is the product of two loving parents who go by the names Amélie D’Artegnon, a French muggleborn, and Paul Brown, a pureblood from England. Sarah also has an older brother who just recently graduated from Hogwarts, a proud Gryffindor as well, going by the name Rick Paul Brown. He was born two years before Sarah, making him the older protective brother. Sarah was born and raised in the wizarding village Ottery St. Catchpole, a village with a community inside a community.
Her mother moved to England when she was 20, after finishing her education at Beauxbatons. She is now an interior designer, preferring cute cottages, a thing that reflected itself on their own house. Her pureblood father lived in London in his younger years, training to become an Auror. When he met Amélie he fell in love after a friendship of a few years. Amélie being a French needed a lot to be convinced, but Paul thought it was all worth it. When they were together for 5 years they decided to move from London to Ottery St. Catchpole, where they wanted to have children and live the happy family life.

With the family also come the much loved pets they have. They have a cat called Roccoco, which was originally bought to keep away the garden gnomes. The cat seemed very inadequate chasing them away though, but he had already won their hearts. As every wizarding family they also have an owl, called Rina. When they went to the shop they saw that the brother owl of Rina, Tinto, was born with only one wing. Feeling sorry for the little thing they also brought him home, making them the proud owners of two owls.

The family went to France every summer, visiting Amélie’s family, who lived in the mountains. Whenever they were there they always went hiking, something Amélie always did when she was a child. Sarah was a very happy, bubbly child, always in for a game or to make friends. Despite the common brother sister fights she always considered her older brother as one of her best friends as well.

Sarah was sorted into Gryffindor, just like her brother and father before her. She loved her house and the people in it, really feeling at home. In Gryffindor she met Matt Wood, a muggleborn from London. At first they were just friends, later best friends and eventually in love. They got together when Sarah was 14 years old, after a lot of persuading from Matt, who guaranteed her it would all be all right. Their love began as puppy love at the age of fourteen to grow to a real love at the age of sixteen, when they celebrated their two years together and Sarah got the beautiful ring.

Things all changed when the next summer came. When Sarah was in France, as she was every summer, Matt got a brain bleeding due to a fist fight he got into when he went out clubbing with his best friends. The doctors tried everything they could but it was too late for Matt and he passed away. Sarah’s world stopped moving from that moment on. Traveling back to England she attended his funeral, cried with his parents and returned to her home.
Sarah went to bed and did not get out of it for two weeks. Her parents forced her to do something, go out in the fresh air, talk about it, but nothing seemed to help. It took all of their convincing powers just to get her return to Hogwarts, where everybody saw the big transformation she had gone through. The happy bubbly Sarah was gone, and in her place was a grim, dark girl who would you rather avoid than get near to.
Friends quickly lost interest in her, as she would let no one close anyways or scared away the ones that did and so Sarah became even more alone than she already was. With her older brother also being graduated from Hogwarts he could also not keep an eye on her.
Her last year at Hogwarts had begun, but it will be a very different one than the last six years.
