Basic Description
Sapphire Arabella Seulement, commonly known as Bella, is a 16 year old fifth year Slytherin. She is a half-blood, born into the French pureblood Seulement family. She has the traits of a Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor. She is very ambitious and sly, but this often leads her to being misjudged by her peers. She has a knack at all classes she takes, which also tends to make her unpopular due to the jealousy others hold towards her, but her professors adore her. Her knack comes from her father being a Ravenclaw, but Bella also enjoys most of her classes (Herbology and History of Magic being the exception). Her best classes are Charms, Arithmancy, and Astronomy. Bella has a pretty big mouth, and seems to get into trouble quite a bit. She can be very sensitive, but hides her feelings as she will never be seen as weak. Her father’s death has always made her feel as if she should avenge him, and therefore is up to most challenges. She is extremely susceptible to expecting the worst, and she does not think of this as a bad thing. Bella is often brave despite of that. Bella does have a playful side but most people don’t notice it since she isn’t the most social person. She finds that she doesn’t “fit in” with others, although there are a few younger students who admire her. Bella has admires her father after all the stories her mother has told her about him.
Early Life (1995-1998)
Sapphire Arabella Seulement was born to François, Ministry of Magic Foreign Affairs worker, and witch Ara. Bella was born in a small Hogsmeade apartment. She was born right into the Second Wizarding War, her father going not too far away to fight in it. Bella and her mother hid, as Ara would not leave her husband. At the age of three, François was murdered by a death eater on Hogwarts grounds. Ara brought her young daughter to François as he lay dying, the man then dead. Bella's magic broke loose at that moment. Ara couldn't afford to lose Bella, so the two moved to a small muggle apartment near Kings Cross Station.
Pre-Hogwarts Life (1998-2006)
Bella wasn't told too much about magic, as it was a very touchy subject to Ara due to her husbands death. The problem was, Bella's magic would often get out of hand due to emotional rage. She grew up a fairly unusual life for a magical child, she grew up quite like an average muggle child.
