  • Age: 21 (Deceased)
  • Position: No known employment at her time of death

Short Bio: A former Hufflepuff, Rosemary ran away from home in early 2009. She was found dead in Grimshaw Tailoring and Alterations on 29 October, 2009. Jonas Trevelyan believes that her death is somehow connected to the Corpus Inversus investigation.

Known Facts

  • Former Hufflepuff; graduated in 2007.
  • Died at age 21. Judging by the state of decomposition, it appears that she had been dead for some time before her body was found.
  • Her family lived in a small town outside of Leeds. Her father was a half-blood; her mother was Muggle-born. They kept few magical things in their household because her mother's parents often paid them visits.
  • Her boyfriend went missing around the same time that she did. He was a year ahead of her at Hogwarts, and had dark hair and gray eyes. Rosemary's parents disapproved of their relationship because they worried that he was leading her to make bad decisions. It is not currently known if he is alive or dead. (His name has not been mentioned in AO, so feel free to make it up and any other information!)

Unknown Facts

  • Spirits of the shop's ossuary lured in Rosemary Hampton and her boyfriend to warn them of the ritualistic murders happening every 28 years.
  • The Necromancer possessed either Rosemary or the bf and a fight broke out between the two, resulting in Rosemary's death.
  • Trouble the raven witnessed Rosemary's death, and collected the pendant given to Rosemary by her grandmother.
  • Phyllis Hampton, Rosemary's grandmother, may have been the one person that Rosemary confided in about the shop before she died.
  • The life-size doll that Fauna and Trevelyan found in the back room of the shop had gray eyes and dark hair, which resembles Rosemary's missing boyfriend.
