Father to Raine Almasy, and cousin to Ira Almasy and Kazimir Almasy.
Roman Almasy is the bastard child of an Almasy Clan member. As his mother had delivered him out of wedlock - and with an unknown half-blood - both were exiled to live in the United Kingdom. Exiles in the clan are not treated very seriously in this day and age. Roman spent many summers in Russia and is very close to his cousins, although they do not always see eye to eye on many matters.
In spite of the fact that he would go on to marry a muggleborn, Roman remains on cordial terms with all relatives. This is particularly thanks to the fact that he has produced a female heir (the Matriarchal clan sadly has more sons than daughters) and has reconciled relations with the clan Matriarch. He currently works as a successful legal consultant in the muggle world and is of particular use to those muggle families whose wizarding children have no other roots in the magical realm. Roman loves his daughter, Raine, very much but has long been resigned to the fact that she may take after his clan more than she does her even-tempered mother.
