Monty, Catherine, Zeta and Eta live in Muggle-looking house with a large garden.

They host most of the Christmas gatherings of the family because of the space. It's not unusual to have both brothers and their families there for Christmas Day, and certainly Boxing Day always has an invite for the extended family of Hughes and the occasional closer family friends - Norlings and such. In summer there is an annual gathering which they invite their wide group of friends to.

The house is Muggle-built but with some sly magical enhancements to help with space. It is homely, a little rough around the edges. The wallpaper is fading a bit, but the walls are crammed full of portraits. Some move, others do not, and are mostly of the family. The studio does contain a few talking ones, though these are often freshly painted for Monty's clients and have not learned very many phrases yet - as one must talk to their portrait to teach it.

Catherine is a Muggle, so there are a few Muggle conveniences. The telephone however has become a magical casualty they suspect. She does the majority of anything related to the Muggle world while away at work as an accountant.
