The end of term project in the winter of 2008 in Care of Magical Creatures is an option: either sit a long, tedious, detailed exam... or... opt for a group project. The students in Professor Declan Ó Móráin's combined class universally choose the group project, which is later revealed to be the partnered care of unidentified eggs.
