Fauna Blake's very active involvement in SAWS and her change in behaviour has led some students to wonder why she's so invested in the cause. Sasha Schlagenweit and Baxter Fox spark the rumor that Fauna Blake was bitten during the werewolf attack in Hogsmeade in October. Once Ackerly Fox catches wind of it, the rumor soon spirals out of control.
As the rumor began to spread, notorious big-mouth and apparently a hole of wasted musicial talent, Figaro Sellaphix composed a song. All in good fun, of course.
We've got a werewolf, yes we do, and Fauna Blake's her name!
Foley bit her on the face, no matter what they claim!
They snogged a bit, she bit her lip, and that's what sealed her doom.

Ayla and Fauna attempt to convince Ayla's cousin, Lexus Dale, to register as a werewolf. Their conversation may have been overheard, and misinterpreted.
Figaro Sellaphix, hearing about the rumor, has written a song about it.[1] He is singing it in the Great Hall as a joke when Sophie Flickwick overhears. She confronts him and ultimately breaks up with him for being a bad friend to Fauna, who he insists doesn't care.
Figaro storms off to sulk in the commonroom where he and Fauna rant about the day's troubles. Fauna admits she found the song bothersome, and that she's to report to the Ministry of Magic.
Olivia Foley meets Sasha Schlagenweit on the streets of Muggle London some time before nightfall - she is running late to make it home for her transformation. A recipient of the tainted wolfsbane potion, she transforms and attacks Sasha. Hildegarde Austerlitz is able to rescue them both from harm, immobilizing Olivia in beast form.
Fauna Blake is in hospital from her wounds from the attack, and comes across Sasha Schlagenweit who is in the same predicament. Their discussion comes to a boiling point when they confront each other about rumors and loyalties.
Dion invites Fauna to the Fayette Divination store in Diagon Alley to ask what she plans to do about SAWS. Though she leaves with things still up in the air, she promises to think about their next step.

Picture it in your mind. A group of students gather to share their thoughts and their feelings and someone stands up. That person - what they have to say is that worst case scenario you are fearing. Sasha and Sophie share a compartment on the train ride to Hogsmeade and talk about why he sent in letters to the Ministry informing them of his worries that Fauna was a werewolf.
