Phil, or Yawndry as he is sometimes comically referred to, is a healer on the third floor. He has worked there all his life and is a very knowledgeable healer.
These days he is looking towards retirement and is not as quick on his feet. He enjoys teaching the trainees but can be incredibly pedantic. He is famous for making everyone take a step back to review the whole situation before anyone acts, which at times is very useful in learning, but sometimes wastes time.
His teaching style is very steady and methodical, and he does everything 'by the book.' He is not very open to new methods, and is a sceptic of Arcturus Hollingbury's research in blood.
Elixa Mordent found him tedious to work with as part of her training as he did not challenge her but instead revised the basics that she felt very well versed in.
Phil likes to sail in his spare time, is married with several children. He will often tell tales of his children to explain concepts to trainees, or to anyone who sits still long enough.
Patients respond well to him, but sometimes grit their teeth when they have to listen to the third or fourth iteration of his advice.
