Overtly Abusive Force

Overtly Abusive Force otherwise known as an OAF, is a reprimand in the Auror Corps that describes violent action by an Auror that goes beyond what the situation should require. An OAF can take the form of a formal reprimand, or be used as grounds for suspension.
Zora Roh risks an OAF when she mishandles Devlin Matthews by slapping and kicking him. (See The Imperfect Crime)
"That justifies your leaving your post, but that's quite frankly the least of your worries. OAF, leaving your partner, I don't really need to go on."
Roh had been threatened with an OAF in the past and she clenched her jaw to keep from getting into it with Harcroft. And while she put on a brave front, there was going to be nothing at all pretty about standing in front of Raynor while the Head of the Corps read Harcroft's report. She'd slipped. But that would have to wait.
