Effervescent and eccentric, Osgood is both wise beyond is years and decades younger at heart. An author of both serious discourse about international magical politics and fanciful children's books, he is able bounce between both worlds with ease. Unfortunately, sometimes those worlds don't always mix. Like when you think pretending to die and be buried is a great prank to play on your wife to spice up the marriage, only to be regarded as a ghost for the rest of your life.
Appearance
A older man of Scottish/Polish ancestry with grey frazzled hair and mischievous dark brown eyes. Likes to dress up in clothing from different eras and speak in the vernacular of aforementioned eras. Always seems to have ink stains on his fingers and occasionally wears small, round glasses. As a youth, he was short and wiry, with a full head of black hair and a quick smile.
Biography
Osgood Grimlish is the youngest Grimlizowski brother, after his brothers Olek and Osiris. He was a Durmstrang student whose intelligence and family prestige earned him a spot in Obertiel. He was an odd duck who liked to explore and tell tall tales, as well as was fascinated with death and mortality. This earned him quite a bit of mockery despite his position at the school. It would come as little surprise to his parents that, of the three, he would become the black sheep when he met and fell in love with a strange little French muggle named Antoinette. When he refused to stop seeing her and proceeded to run off with her after leaving Durmstrang, he was stricken from the family tree. He spent the next 40 odd years of his life traveling with his family and writing books ranging from historical non-fiction (Growing up Grindelwald) to mystery novels with his son and three daughters (at the time) as the inspiration for the characters (The Three Tenenbaums). During the last year of the Second Wizarding War, he helped create and run a small refuge camp in North Africa. He now lives with his wife Antoinette and his four daughters and adopted grandchildren in a large, very haunted mansion in the Hounslow, England.
Other
Interesting Facts: It is Osgood's goal to step foot in every country on earth, and he collects a bit of each country as he goes, meaning he has little jars of dirt lining his office walls. Some aren't labeled, but he knows exactly where he got every single one of them and almost always has an interesting story to tell about how he acquired it.
