Description: Does what exactly its name says, but as it is more precise than the Full Body-Bind and Leg-Locker Curses it can be used to freeze any part as the caster so desires. The wand gesture is two horizontal figures-of-eight stacked on top of each other (the bottom figure-of-eight must always be performed first) followed by a flick upwards.

It requires in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, as a misdirection could cause the wrong muscle to be frozen - which can be lethal, as the entire body is muscle.

Because the spell is nonverbal, the incantation has not been documented anywhere.

Etymology: All is known is that it contains the word glaceo, Latin for "to freeze", and the name(s) of the muscle group(s) to harden. There can be other modifiers used to strengthen or dilute it.

References: Arcturus Hollingbury uses it on Maiko Biladeau-Yukawa in St Mungo's to restrain her while he goes to get more healing ingredients for her burns in Burning Man on the night of 5th November.

Notes: Arcturus Hollingbury is the inventor of this spell solely because he felt the Full Body-Bind and Leg-Locker Curses were too imprecise. Notably the charm itself is so dangerous he himself classifies it as a Curse if it would fall into the wrong hands, and has never told anyone what it is for fear of that possibility.

He uses it for medical reasons at the moment, especially in order to control blood flow while taking blood samples or for in-depth surgical procedures, or on occasion to restrain a patient so they don't injure themselves.
