Marcus is rude, crude and bad to the bone. He truly believes in the Dark cause and he believes that one day the purebloods are going to run everything. He thinks Voldemort is still alive and hiding somewhere and will come back to finish what he started.
Physical Description
Marcus stands at 6 foot 2 inches and weighs 200 pounds (he's got an athletic build). He has black hair with a buzz cut, a black goatee and brown eyes. He fixed his teeth to look normal too.
Personality Description
Marcus is crude, rude, and very dangerous. He enjoys hurting people, whether it be hurting someone's feelings or hurting someone physically. He has no morals and could kill someone without even thinking twice about it. He’s rude with others he thinks are below him, but pretty much obeys those higher up than him in the Death Eater ranking. He’s also kinda nice to others that believe the same way as him. He’s a good looking guy but can’t find a girl to stay with him because he’s such a wanker.
History
Marcus was born to Orion Flint and Ursla Flint (nee Burke), and is a product of inbreeding. Both of his parents are close descendants of the Black family. Ursla is the daughter of Belvina Burke (nee Black) and Herbert Burke, Belvina is the daughter of Ursla Black (nee Flint) and Phineas Nigellus Black, Ursla Black (nee Flint) is the daughter of Viola Parkinson and Flavius Flint . Pureblood families are known to do this to keep the blood pure, but it takes a toll on the mental health of wizards and witches. For Marcus, it made him have low intelligence.
Marcus’ parents are the owners of Borgin & Burke’s. His father is also a Death Eater, but no one but the Death Eaters know that. Growing up Marcus surrounded himself with purebloods and halfbloods only. He hated muggle-borns and believed they should all be killed. He never really had any contact with muggle borns, however, until he went to Hogwarts. When he was accepted into Hogwarts he was sorted into Slytherin along with his two best friends Bole and Derrick. Marcus used his dark wizarding family linage to his advantage by bullying muggle borns and anyone that accepted them. In his second year he, Bole, and Derrick joined the Slytherin quidditch team. It was then that he met his mortal enemy Oliver Wood. Through the years the two of them fought on and off the pitch.
In his fifth year he became captain of the Slytherin quidditch team, also the boy who lived came to Hogwarts. Marcus was interested in meeting him until Draco told him that Potter was a prat. When Harry was put on the Gryffindor quidditch team as a seeker Marcus couldn’t believe it, and tried to get him off the team by complaining to every staff member he could, but nothing ever came of it. Marcus also tried to get Draco on the Slytherin team as a seeker, because he believed Draco was a much better seeker than Harry Potter, but again nothing ever came of it. Marcus promised Draco a spot as seeker on the Slytherin team for the next years season.
In his sixth year he stood by his promise to Draco by letting him join the Slytherin quidditch team. In appreciation for that, Draco’s father Lucius bought the whole Slytherin quidditch team new Nimbus 2001’s. Everyone thought Lucius bought Draco’s way on the team, but that’s not true. Marcus knew how well Draco could fly and he knew he would make a good seeker. Marcus didn’t like Harry Potter and all he stood for, so he and his crew joined Draco and his crew in bullying Harry. This bullying continued on into his Seventh year.
After graduating Hogwarts everyone thought Marcus would become a professional quidditch player, but he didn’t. He wanted to but he didn’t. Instead he followed his father's wishes and became a Death Eater. His father gave him a job at Borgin & Burke’s, and he balanced that with his Death Eater duties. Before the war started Marcus learned from another Death Eater how to become an unregistered Animagus. His form is a black crow. When the war started, Marcus was able to let his true evil loose. He killed a lot of wizards, witches, and muggles during those times, including students in the battle of Hogwarts, and he loved every minute of it. No one ever knew he was a Death Eater, and they still don’t. Now spy for the Death Eaters as well as works at Borgin ^ Burkes . He lives above Borgin & Burkes in Knockturn Alley. He’s not married and single right now (who would want to stay with him?), but he has fun with certain people in Knockturn Alley. He frequents all the pubs in Knockturn Alley, actually he frequents all of Knockturn Alley.
He buys and sells dark magic items. Most of the people that come in his shop are Dark wizards or witches and he knows them and knows if he should do business with them or not. If he doesn't know you he is suspicious of you and will most likely tell you to get of his shop if you try to sell him something. He's part of the Burke family and knows all about dark curses and how to manage them.
Pets
Has a Long-eared owl called Scotty. He named it after his all time favorite Falmouth Falcons chaser Scotty McManus. McManus played in the 80s and 90s, and shaped Flints love of quidditch and chasers in general. He’s had Scotty since his first year in Hogwarts. He also has a pet Ball Python that he named Salazar. He’s had him since he graduated Hogwarts.
