Malachi "Mal" Reid is a painter and part-time book illustrator at Obscurus Books.
Moody and artistic to a fault, he can often be found browsing records in Reducto or sketching at the British Wizarding Museum. He frequents The Closet and is part of a closely-knit group of queer friends.
Mal used to be a full-time illustrator for Obscurus but has made a minor name for himself in the wizarding art world for his intricate paintings depicting the blurred lines between the magical and muggle world.
