Appearance:
Maeve is an identical twin, thus looks almost exactly like her sister Aoife. She has long completely white hair with bright blue eyes. Her skin in pale with wrinkles and age spots. Her hair is often tied into a bun. Her clothing tends to lean more toward the formal side than her sister, but she still has the old habit of mixing wizard and Muggle clothing.
Short Bio:
Although she was born to two pure-blood supremacists and watched her younger brother fall into their beliefs, Maeve-along with her twin Aoife-rebelled against their parents' beliefs. Maeve was the more subtle of the two, often opposing her parents right under their noses and doing her best to ruin her younger brother's life and get away with it. In 1950, Maeve was sent to Hogwarts, where she was immediately sorted into Syltherin. She impressed her house-mates with her cunning and ambition. She excelled in most of her classes, but she was most passionate about Defense Against the Dark Arts, and History of Magic.
Once out of school, Maeve got a job immediately at the Wizengamot Administration Services. But Maeve didn't want to stop there. She worked up the ranks until she was appointed a Wizengamot elder. Around this time her sister's husband had died in an odd accident at work. Maeve's fellow Wizengamot Elders noticed an odd look in her eye when Aoife Selwyn was ruled out as a suspect and Oswald Combs' death was ruled as an accident.
Nine years later Maeve and her sister had a falling out after Aoife's 8 year old son, Aiden disappeared. Maeve joined the search to find him, but no leads and no known trail turned up. Maeve soon left her and her sister's home in Ottery St. Catchpole and headed for the family's vacation home in Derry, Northern Ireland. Thought they later made a slight reconciliation during the First Wizarding War, their relationship would never truly be the same.
On November 29. 1997, Maeve was surprised when her sister came to her home with a young, heavily pregnant woman. Soon after she was brought inside, she went into labor. After calling in a favor from a healer friend she had known since Hogwarts, a girl was successfully delivered in the Selwyn's vacation home. She was named Aoife Maeve Moffett
