Has an older brother she doesn't speak about, Jonathan Avery (more commonly known as Jonathan "John" Wednesday), an Unspeakable. According to her he dislikes the Avery family out of a perceived air of self-superiority and considers himself more 'enlightened' for pursuing 'topics of immeasurable quantity' (i.e. time, love, death etc) than 'low-hanging fruit such as blood purity'. She complains a lot about him because she cares about him.
