History
Lawanda was born the second child of Lincoln and Dora Warrington. Her childhood, along with her older brother Winston and younger sister Imani, was a quiet and happy one. She attended Hogwarts at the age of 11, and was sorted, just like her two siblings, in Slytherin. Upon graduation she accepted an internship at the Department of International Magical Cooperation, where she thrived. She ended up working at the Office for African relations, and it was during one of her trips to South Africa where she met a muggle named Oxosi that she fell in love with. When returning to the UK she found out that she was pregnant, and with no way of contacting her lover in Cape Town, she decided to raise her future son by herself. After Omari was born, she changed to a job in the International Magical Office of Law, and when Omari was old enough to go to Hogwarts, she accepted an offer to take one of the British Seats in the International Confederation of Wizards, where she works to this day.
Personality
Lawanda is known as a kind, but firm and proud woman throughout the Ministry. She knows what she wants, and will never tolerate any sillyness. She is strict, and many feel that she was born to do the job she currently has. She immedietly adresses problems, and if she thinks someone is behaving in a way that she doesn't approve of, she will be sure to tell them so (and to kindly, but firmly, ask them to get out of her way.)
Appearance
Lawanda is a short woman, with dark skin and a curvy body. She is not one for extravagant jewellry, and always dress in proper business robes. Her reading glasses can always be seen hanging around her neck. Cleanliness and tidyness is something that she values, and you would never find her with miss-matched stockings or unironed blouses. Being brought up in a wizarding family, she usually wears robes (favouring maroon, earthy yellow, and marine blue colours), but can sometimes be found in a proper skirt suit if the job so requires.
