Kyrene is a quiet Russian woman, who is second-guessing her choices in coming to look for her father and his family. She does feel that the choice of being in England is better than remaining in Russia. Kyrene has poor English but it has not put a damper on her work she has started here in England. Kyrene is a trader of illegal and cursed artifacts.
Physical Description
Kyrene is not a tall woman, or especially sinister looking, in truth she has such an innocent face. It is rather amusing to her that she can strike such fear into people by the way she looks. The fact she looks innocent probably plays into the roundness of her face that makes her appear rather sweet, and the softness of her features. She does not have a harsh look and her features are defined as she is has a fullness to her face. Her green eyes could be the most sinister part of her as they look as if they can read you like you have no secrets.
Just as her face has a fullness about it so does Kyrene’s body. She is not skinny but she is by no means over weight, she looks normal and healthy. Kyrene is about 5’7 in height and most of her weight she says is in her boobs. Kyrene was in her opinion cursed with a full chest, where as boys take the blessed stance on it. Due to her large chest she comes across as very curvy as she has such a slender waist in comparison to her chest, and she has hips that are not overly large but she at least has hips. Kyrene dresses in a variety of ways, you could not exactly say her style is one way or another. She wears what she can get her hands on as long as it looks good and fits she will wear it. She tries to compliment her body shape as best she can when it comes to finding some clothes.
When it comes to other aspects of her appearance you could say she is a bit classic in what she wears, or casual depending on what she decided to wear. Kyrene has dark black hair naturally but it is a lot shorter than it was when she was a girl. Aspects of her appearance that she has put the most thought into are the tattoos that cover her body. She has one on her right wrist it as a design of a fair, on the right of her shoulder is a lion, and on the small of her back is a bouquet of sweetpeas. On her left hip there are praying hands, and right breast a sparrow. She also has the words “Move or Bleed” on the left side of her ribcage.
Personality Description
First impressions are a weak point when it comes to Kyrene. The main reason for that is because she is a quiet person. Many people might think she is quiet because she struggles with her English but the truth is she was quiet even back home in Russia. Kryene is more the type to watch then speak, she is a very observant woman and perhaps that is why she has dodge being found as much as she has. One of her favourite past times is people watching because she finds she can understand a person from watching them enough and decide whether they are worth her time. She knows she comes across as cold and people cannot really see her but she likes it that way.
Truth is Kyrene is a very emotionally intense person. She hides it under a calm and cold exterior but it can burst out at any moment. She appears very self-controlled and calm, but she finds a lot of the time her emotions do the decision making for her. Sometimes her emotions make her rather spontaneous and do something completely unexpected. Kyrene can be vindictive with deliberate cruelty especially because of her jealous and obsessive side. To be driven by emotions can be dangerous and make someone unpredictable. Kyrene is not a person to get on the wrong side of.
As you get closer to her you might find yourself drawn to some form of magnetic personality. She is passionate and exciting (maybe because she is such a secretive person). She has wise insights, even if she struggles to speak them in English. She has a commanding presence despite her innocent and soft appearance. Strangely she can strike fear with a few chosen words and more importantly a look. The passionate side of her is reserved for the people she trusts as she only has a handful of true friends.
Kyrene uses people and be friends people casting them aside when they no longer have a use for her. She always seems so sincere when really she is nothing of the sort. You know when you are a true friend of Kyrene’s because you will see the snippets of that emotional side she is making the attempt to hide. You might even discover that her emotions are a major driver behind who she is. She has a tender and compassionate side for her true friends, but sometimes even strangers see it if their situation has sparked an emotional response. If you are lucky and manage to be that special someone you would see the sensual and affectionate side of her, but so far only two have seen that.
There are times when she can think on her toes and gets herself out of sticky situations. She is determined and focused, especially when it comes to her ‘job’. She has a reputation to live up to and a standard to achieve. Kyrene has a tendency to be too hard on herself and has high standards of rating her actions on a day-to-day basis. Kyrene does her best quick thinking on the job, but finds in regular life her emotions take over and make quick thinking a lot harder.
Being an emotionally intense person can give rise to an explosion, Kyrene is prone to a terrible temper. She can be extremely aggressive in this state and it is best to leave her to cool off. Kyrene is no stranger to throwing a punch or spell in rage, so for your safety and hers it is best to leave her alone.
History
Polina Petrova, a pureblood witch went into to labour on October 31st 1984. By 7:35am November 1st she would have a little baby girl brought into the world. Kyrene Inna Petrova, the daughter of Polina Petrova and Maxim Kryloff. Kryene was a love child, a child born out of wedlock and from an affair. Maxim Kryloff was engaged to Italia Della Rocco a beautiful pureblood English woman of Italian heritage. Maxim Kryloff was raised in Russia and met Polina at Durmstrang, but it was always the plan that Maxim would be married off to Italia as they were a pure family of old money. When Polina became pregnant it was a rift in plan that the Kryloff family had set out for their eldest son Maxim. Polina was encouraged to get rid of the baby or put it up for adoption. Polina decided to take neither path her parents placed before and would raise the child herself. Maxim followed instructions and went of to marry Italia like the good boy he was. Maxim would visit Kyrene until she was three that was when his ‘true family’ as Kyrene’s mother called it started. Kyrene would have four half siblings, none that she would ever hear of or know until she read a letter.
Kyrene did not live an easy life with her mother; they were poor since Polina’s parents disowned her over her choice. Polina and Kyrene were happy, but they struggled to make ends meet. Polina worked as a seamstress, but it just wasn’t enough. Polina resorted to stealing but it was a short-lived answer to a long lasting problem. By the time Kyrene was six the boyfriends of her mother started to come in and out of her life. Kyrene didn’t particularly like any of them. They either ignored her or tried to be her friend, she preferred it when they ignored her. It got to the point she just called the парень (the Russian for guy). By the time she was eleven-years-old there had been at least five boyfriends in and out of her life, none of them leaving a lasting impression.
A great relief from the life of the deadbeat boyfriends came when Kyrene received an owl. The owl informed her that like her mother and father she was going to attend Durmstrang School, Kyrene was eager to leave her home finding time away from her mother a long awaited break from drama. Kyrene did love her mother but Kyrene felt like she just need a bit of time on her own, even at the young age of eleven. Kyrene was very capable of taking care of herself as she needed to, so it wouldn’t be that different going off to school.
Durmstrang opened many doors for her, and showed her a world of knowledge she had not known existed. Kryene was a bright girl who was focused with a lot of drive. Kyrene was not the top of the year, but she was top of her class in the equivalent to Hogwarts Ancient Runes. Her fascination with artifacts, runes and inscriptions started. The deeper she got into it the more fascinated by curses she became. With her strong skills in the area she would have made a fantastic cursebreaker, if that were the way she had chosen to go. It was in her final year of school that she discovered just how valuable some of these cursed artifacts could be, and how much someone would pay for one. It got her wheels turning feeling that maybe she could finally help herself and her mother out.
Kyrene during school was never terribly social, she had a few close friends that she actually liked but most of the time she used people to better herself at school. She used people for their intelligence and brains in other classes, or used people to make them do things for her in the name of ‘friendship’. Her mother was always concerned that she was too quiet and solitary, but it was a choice on Kyrene’s part. Kyrene preferred to observe, after all that was all she did at home while her mother lived her life. Polina tried to mother Kyrene but she was never really responsive to it and preferred to entertain herself in her room.
Contacts and friendships were made at Durmstrang, but not many of them stuck once she left the halls of school for good. The contacts she made after school are the ones worth mentioning. After school Kyrene became an employee of a dark alley shop that sold all sorts of the strange and unusual. With her excellent skills in the area of Runes and curses she was strong employee of Artur Durnovo and elder Russian wizard. Artur was a mentor of sorts for Kyrene, he taught her the ropes and even opened her up to the world of illegal trade. Stupidly he showed her his list of important clients, and that was all she needed to build up her own list of clientele, she no longer needed Artur’s little shop and quickly quit but not without taking a bit of merchandise on the way.
Kyrene was twenty by the time she started to make a name for herself, the name of KIP became well known around the Black Market and Illegal trade. She would use strangers, for the right price, or trusted allies to deliver her product; none of her clients ever saw her face unless they were willing to pay the price and were a client she could trust. Kyrene made a mistake once, and was almost caught because she trusted a client she shouldn’t have. In her haste to leave she broke her wand. From then on she was less trusting of her clients.
A man named Fokin would be the next person worth mentioning that entered Kyrene’s life. Kyrene never referred to him by his first name he was always Fokin to her, just as she was KIP to him. He was the first person she really cared for. Fokin worked for her and lived with her, Kyrene made the mistake of mixing business with pleasure. Fokin was not the first man she kissed or had been with, but he was the first to get genuine affection and something close to love from Kyrene. The end to their relationship came with the end of their business agreement, Fokin tried to steal from her.
Kyrene received a letter when she was twenty-two from her father, her mother finally gave in and gave it to her. It turned out the letter was not from her father but from his eldest son Pasha. Pasha was nineteen and had learnt of his half sister and decided he wanted to contact her. Kyrene was intrigued by meeting them, curious to see just how privileged their life had been. Kyrene did nothing about it until a job went wrong and she decided it was time to go and meet the family, after all the other alternative was getting caught by law enforcement.
By the middle of January Kyrene had arrived in London England, without a place to go and no idea where to start. Luckily she had some clients in England so she wasn’t too poor. After some time in London and some observing she would meet the final important person to mention in her life so far. Kyrene would meet Simon Reid. This time she was not going to mix business with pleasure. Simon is her friend and now her roommate. He is a werewolf and this has never been much of a problem to Kyrene, she often tends to him after a rough full moon. Simon is her only true friend in England so far, and she has told herself she will never work with him for fear or ruining this friendship. Currently he is helping her become more comfortable with her English.
Kyrene has yet to start her search for her half-siblings and father, but it is on her list of things to do. Pasha doesn’t even know his half sister is in town she has been too nervous to inform him.

- KIP is a well known name of rare artifacts in Russia. She has done no crime here in England. They have never convicted her of a crime in Russia, as they have never caught her. KIP keeps under the radar and pays off people she can to keep herself in the shadows. She gets her business only by word of mouth and rarely meets a client face to face, only when she truly trusts them would she meet them herself.

- Now that she is in England she will attempt to build up clientele that will buy her artifacts. She has a few people she used to sell too that lived in England when she was back in Russia and hopes to work for them. She will continue to sell cursed objects and trade her artifacts.

- Not being pursued by the Ministry of Magic, the Russian Ministry is aware of KIP but no leads as to who he or she is.
