- Aug 1972 - Moved to London, lived with the St. James cousins; Began Healing apprenticeship with local, independent Healer.
Knox's pureblooded cousins were friendly and fun, but were quick supporters of Lord Voldemort. Knox was swept up in the movement and the peer pressure, and found himself serving as a battle-field Healer of sorts, patching up injured Death Eaters in the flat he was sharing with his cousins.

- Oct 31, 1981 - Voldemort dies attempting to kill Harry Potter.
The sacrifice of the Potter family ends Lord Voldemort's hold on life, and his hold on Knox. Death Eaters everywhere fade to shadow, and Knox abruptly stops Healing. It was at this time that Knox hid 44 wands. Embarrassment of Wands

- Feb 1982 - Moved to the Greyfriar House in Kent, and began to study history, finding work writing and speaking about History. He did some traveling to reference primary sources.
Knox begins to study history, hoping its lessons will fill his stupid youthful head with stuff of substance, so that no evil can fit. He searches for clues to why people do horrible things. He publishes on Grindelwald, Goblin Rebellions and witch burnings.

- While in Spain, he has an affair with Leticia Santoya which would result in Devlin Matthews being born in June 1991.
1995
Age 43
- Jun 24, 1995 - Voldemort returns

Age 47
- May 2, 1998 - Battle of Hogwarts
- Jun 5, 1998 - Began at Hogwarts as History of Magic professor.
Headmistress McGonagal asks him to replace Binns who has finally passed over. He teaches History of Magic for 7 Years. In this time, he served 3 years as Head of Hufflepuff. Then, in 2005 he began as Headmaster.
