Secretary of sorts to Cepheus Gamp in Being Division.
Hasn't yet learned the ropes of professionalism, so will often walk into offices without knocking and speaks informally. Deals with Ceph's basic admin, can spell well enough, add up three figure numbers in her head and tell the time, which were about his minimum requirements. She is paid minimum wage and as a squib some consider her appointment a pity move from Cepheus.
Kayla has an abundance of misplaced enthusiasm. She sometimes lacks a filter when it comes to discretion and British expectations of adult professionalism, partly due to her age.
