Jamilah Rashid started working for the Werewolf Registry soon after graduating from Hogwarts. She is seen by her coworkers as smart and strategic, although sometimes her diplomatic facade can turn a little sarcastic.
Jamilah was deeply affected by the death of her younger sister, Farah Rashid, at the claws of an unregistered werewolf in December 2009. Since then, Jamilah has harbored somewhat of a grudge towards the Werewolf Capture Unit. The tragedy also complicated her feelings towards werewolves, although she tries hard not to let it show.
