Note: This article provides information about a feature of the Absit Omen Forum, not the Absit Omen Lexicon.

The SubAccounts feature allows us to group our character accounts together so we only need to log in once! Switching between accounts is as simple as a drop-down menu. One of your accounts will be the Parent Account and you will use that one to log in and out. All other accounts are SubAccounts and can be accessed from the Parent Account with a drop-down menu at the top of the page.

It's entirely your choice which is the Parent Account. Membergroups will be as they were, no matter what. So even if your Parent Account might be Inactive or Retired or a Secondary - doesn't matter. You'll still have full access to all your accounts as normal.

Creating a New SubAccount

If you just want to add a new account

  1. Log into your Parent Account.
  2. Go to Profile, Modify Profile, then Manage SubAccounts
  3. Create/Link
  4. Create the new username and new password for what will be your new SubAccount.
  5. Create

Now, when you log into your Parent Account, you should be able to select your SubAccount from the drop-down menu.

  2. Go to your profile, Modify Profile, then "Manage Subaccounts"
