Gerard Gries is a Beauxbatons alumni and was for many years a researcher into the Mind for the French Ministry of Magic. He now works at his former school as an Academic Advisor where he oversees testing, arranges study sessions, administers advice to each student's educational and career goals and assists the staff however he can. Occasionally he hosts a seminar on Legillimency and Occlumency or coaches a boxing club.
