Wizard's Chess! Gobstones! Magically assisted Dungeons & Dragons! Coming this fall!
Gaming Club was an attempt to streamline the recreational clubs at Hogwarts while also introducing muggle board games to wixes and vice versa. There was a small stock of games but attendees were encouraged to bring their own. Magically assisted D&D (3.5 ed) was a popular draw in the '09 debut. Pax and Philo finalized preparations in July of 2009.[1]
Otherwise, attendance tended to greatly vary.
Club Rules
- Be courteous to the games brought to club.
- Tournament formats had signups 2 weeks in advance.
- Wands should NOT be pulled over arguments inside the game.
- Games with questionable content could be confiscated by the club advisor (or castle caretaker)
- Repeated warnings about unsporting behavior, or major disruptions from poor attitude, could ban a student from attending.
