Francine "Franny" Radley is the dedicated, single mother of Fred Radley. When she was 17, her Hogwarts sweetheart, Nelson White, got her pregnant and then ran off (some say to America) as soon as she told him. Franny's family, the Radleys, supported her through the pregnancy and she had worked on-and-off at the Green Goblin for years, it wasn't a stretch to bump her employment to full time. She had her son upstairs in the inn on January 1, 1995. Ever since, she's devoted her self completely to her son, even with the difficulty of being a single, teen mom. The male influence in Fred's life, her older brother for whom her son was named, was an active part of their lives. When Fred was seven, he was killed in the line of duty. Franny has taken over both the male and female role model jobs in her son's life since.
She feels like she's done a good job, he is the best son anyone could ask for (you know, if you asked her opinion), but Franny would like to do everything she can for him. As a result, she's recently decided to take on another job in hopes of rewarding her son for his hardwork with a holiday over the summer or something he's been looking forward to getting but they couldn't afford. Death & Co was looking for another server and with her years of experience, she was a shoe-in. Franny can be motherly and sassy, but slightly out of touch. She isn't what anyone would think of as "cool," but she is charming and attentive server. She can be a bit awkward (much like her son), but she's learned to channel that in an appeal rather than babbling (it's taken a long time).
Physically, she is average height and curvy. Almost everything about her is soft, even her blonde hair and blue eyes. Though, from years of carrying trays of beers and dinners, you might not want to offer to arm wrestle her...
