The youngest of the three Duerr siblings, Florine married Thomas Bayard and had two daughters, Ondine and Perle who are both at Beauxbatons.
Florine graduated Beauxbatons in 1972, but did not marry until the late 1980s. She followed her brother to France after working initially in Belgium where they had grown up. She and Thomas met at work, and both work for the leading wizarding newspaper in France at the headquarters in Paris. Florine had started her career writing and reporting, and now is the political editor for the paper. She works very long hours.
Has always been quite superstitious and consults seers and diviners about important decisions. Her eldest daughter, Ondine has the gift of sight and is about to become a professional seer.
Florine and her family visited Martijn Duerr and his family in April 2009 where they met Johann Storm and Vedir Prideaux who were visiting.
