The retired mother of Catherine Blake and grandmother of Moira Blake and Fauna Blake. She has made an unfortunate habit of telling stories that break the Statute of Secrecy.

Appearance: She’s very petite, about 5’1’’, with brown eyes, and dyed red hair. She generally has a lot of energy, and spends her days taking long walks around the neighborhood (spying on neighbors, of course), feeding the cats at the supermarket, and somehow, blowing up meals in the microwave. It keeps her spry.

Short Bio: Fauna’s grandma was born in Poland and is bilingual. In her youth she was a world traveler, and this is how she met her husband (now deceased), Henry. She’s learned many languages and used to work in various countries as an English teacher. When Fauna was born, she and her husband moved in with the Blakes to help take care of the family, and she’s been there ever since. Unfortunately, she lost her husband a few years ago and has yet to recover.

Her grandma was, perhaps, the most excited about Hogwarts. She finally had a vibrant, fantastical setting at her fingertips to mold and shape in her storytelling. Luckily, those outside of the family take her stories with a grain of salt. She has no concept of censorship and will proudly talk about Fauna’s ability to transfigure teacups to anyone who will listen. This has made her a bit of running joke at the Ministry, who continually send her letters about the importance of secrecy to the magical world. Rather than heeding their warnings, her grandma pastes each note carefully into her scrapbook of evidence. She even managed to grab an owl feather one time, but not before suffering some battle scars.
