Elliot Fudge

From Absit Omen Lexicon

Elliot Fudge is a pureblood Healer who has been working at St.Mungo's since she was a young woman. She is a senior Healer on the Potions and Plant Poisoning floor, as well as a Legilimens Healer trained to extract traumatic memories. Elliot goes about her daily work efficiently and with little remark from her colleagues or superiors.

Little do they know that Elliot is in fact the UK originator and drug lord behind Muse.

History

Her husband, Alistair Fudge, had been a lacklustre businessman for most of their marriage. He ran an import-export service but often made unwise investments with whatever profit his business turned. In the fifteen years leading up to his death, Alistair started dealing in contraband goods - harmless stuff, largely European gillyweed strains Wolfsbane potions for unregistered werewolves.

Unlike his legitimate business, Alistair's contraband trade picked up over the years. This meant competition and getting noticed by bigger, more powerful drug lords.

Elliot herself was unaware of her partner's illegal dealings until he turned up dead on the streets in east London, 2008. His murder is still a cold case file. Elliot discovered his dealings when she was clearing out his offices - she deduced that he had been killed by a competing drug business.

Grieving, she became obsessed with Alistair's illicit other life. Elliot would eventually take over the remains of his trade, getting in touch with Alistair's black market contacts and resources. She was, you see, a much smarter wix than her late husband. Elliot took more precautions to protect herself and her business, often hiring dark wizards for the purpose.

Current

Today, in 2012, Elliot is at the head of a small but dangerous business that produces and sells Muse. Her organisation also deals in Gillyweed and mushrooms, largely as a way to lure an already-interested audience to try the new (more expensive) drug. She also sends 'ambassador' dealers to small English towns to proliferate demand.

On the production end of Muse, Elliot procures memories from comatose patients at St.Mungo's. She often does this under the guise of volunteering to read to them. As demand for Muse has grown, Elliot has persuaded another two Legilimen Healers to join her endeavour. She pays them well, but is concerned about how else to meet rising demand - there are a limited number of unconscious patients to draw from.
