The Potion
Ingredients
- Essence of Dementor
- Yellow Carnation ground into paste
- Burned Bindweed ash
- Dried Orange Lily Petals
- Asphodel root, finely chopped
- 10 drops of the Potion makers blood (For Control)

Appearance
When in a clear bottle, the liquid itself is a transparent pale purple. but floating in the middle is a fluctuating sphere of black goo that changes shape continuously.
Effects and Duration
When shattered, an apparition of a Dementor is formed. Like with real dementors, the room is sucked free of all good feelings and becomes very cold. Mainly used as a deterant or a decoy because the apparition can't move from above the puddle formed by the potion.
Currently the Department of Mysteries is trying to make it so that the apparition can not only move, but can administer the kiss of death at the potion makers command. It lasts about five minutes (which is more then enough) and can be dispelled using a patronus.
Regulation and Skill Level
Banned and Very Advanced. It is currently still being worked on in the Department of Mysteries.
