Contessa is a charismatic and pretty little girl who has come to Hogwarts with a clear goal in her mind: that being becoming Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Watch out though, anger her and she's 4 foot and 8 inches of pure evil.
Personality
Contessa may be young, but she already has a clear idea as to what she wants (to one day become head of the department of magical law enforcement) and how far she is willing to go to get it (she'd do absolutely anything). She's a strong minded, intelligent and ambitious young girl, most definitely not content to just sit around and wait for things to happen, but the sort of person to go out and seek her destiny, and if she doesn't like it, to change it. She firmly believes that success is the only option and is very competitive.
Generally Connie's likable, she's friendly, charismatic and an excellent actress after all. Still, growing up with parents who spoilt her rotten means that she has difficulties taking no for an answer and refuses to admit when she's wrong, which can be a bit of an issue. She lies quite a bit and with ease but is too proud to play the helpless or the weak so she often gets annoyed when people see her cute appearance and start cooing.
When Contessa's angry, she doesn't do what most kids her age do (that being sulk, cry or shout and scream). Instead, she bottles it up, acting hostile and not exactly rude but very passive aggressive, whilst secretly she plots her revenge. Because she isn't letting her anger burst out, this often leads to some downright cruel revenge plots. However, Contessa is surprisingly forgiving so if you anger her, but apologise (sincerely, she'll know if you are lying) before her revenge plot is complete, then she won't hesitate to forgive you and call the plan off.
Contessa has a dry and sarcastic sense of humour, she's sassy and witty. This tends to change however, depending on who she is with as she wants them to like her. She's quite mischievous, has never followed a rule in her life(never having had to deal with the consequences anyway) and is therefore great fun to be around. Bear in mind though that this doesn't make her irresponsible. If she wants to, she can be very mature and responsible, but she is still a child and needs to have fun as well.
Contessa can find it hard at times to trust people, However, become her friend and she won't ever let you down. She's loyal to a fault and though usually quite selfish, the complete opposite when it comes to those she cares about. Just watch out that you don't push her too far. She won't hesitate to cut you out, and your neck for that matter. Don't try to restrict her freedom, she hates it.
History
Contessa was born on the 23rd of July to Fantine Clarencieux and Alesso Clarencieux at the Clarencieux estate. But it was only a few months later before her parents moved her and her siblings to a separate manor in Cornwall, aware of the bad influence her family in the estate would be to children.
The manor was an incredible place to grow up in. Fantine and Alesso were social butterflies to say the least so they were always throwing parties and introducing a young Contessa( though she was, and still is, known as Connie or Tessa)to exciting new people from all over the world. Because of this, Contessa was never short of friends, and grew up herself to mimic her parent's sociable nature. In fact, it was very rare to find her not with someone else, whether it was with her brothers (Christian and Francesco),her sister (Celestine), her parents, the servants or one of her many friends.
Contessa grew up speaking a mix of English, French and Italian, courtesy of her French mother and Italian father. Unlike many pureblood parents, they were very kind to her, to the point of spoiling her, never dealing out consequences or punishments that has lead to her completely disregarding any type of boundary. Her father had grown up in the Clarencieux estate and didn't want Contessa, or any of his kids for that matter, to have the sort of childhood he had had, and her mother had never met her parents( she was an orphan) so Fantine wanted Contessa to always know how much she loved her. They even let her have muggle friends from the village a ten minute walk away, despite how Alesso was raised to hate muggles.
Contessa always knew she was a witch and began to show signs of magic from her birth. She learned to control it very early on and by the time she was 7, it was clear that she was abnormally powerful and controlled for a child. Contessa's parents encouraged her to learn as much as she could before school, very supportive of her dream to becoming head of department of magical law enforcement. She had wanted this from before anyone could remember, planning on following in her father's footsteps.
Upon her arrival to Hogwarts, Tessa was immediately sorted into slytherin. Classes wise, she's shown a keenness to learn and improve, especially in DADA. As DADA lessons turned more to the practical aspects, Contessa soon showed a natural talent as well. Herbology... not so much.
