Blue Cap
Blue Caps are possible relatives of Red Caps but more likely a type of Fairy. They are attracted to rich deposits of minerals and historically were used by wixes and muggles to assist with mining.
Physical Appearance
Blue caps glow and from a distance may appear to Muggles and Wix as small blue flames. They are winged and take flight. They are strong, especially for their size, able to move full minecarts.
Habitat
Native to northern England, their preferred habitat are mines and deep caves. They are very sensitive to earth tremors, and will flee their habitat if they predict a cave in or landslide.

Reserves and habitats are generally protected by unplottable charms and other anti-muggle measures.
They require humans to treat them with respect, earning their trust. To gain their respect silver should be placed in a quiet corner away from humans. If not paid promptly, they will cause mischief and trap humans underground.
