Blackwood Cafe is a small, mostly-muggle coffee shop in east London. It has a reputation for excellent coffee, but it mostly visited by locals and other regulars. The owners are muggles, but it's one of the favorite spots for Magic folk in the mostly-muggle neighborhood, especially the artist set.

BREAKFAST

  • Eggs (sunny side up, scrambled or poached) OR Tofu scramble, served with a choice of two sides:
  • Smoked cod with a chilli lime drizzle
  • Pancetta fried in miso butter
  • Avocado on toast with a sesame oil drizzle (Vegan)
  • Rosemary lamb sausages
  • Tempeh rendang sausages (Vegan)
  • Sun-dried tomato tofu sausages (Vegan)
  • Hash browns with a truffle oil drizzle (Vegan)


  • Oatmeal Porridge.
  • Americans style Pancakes. Served with maple syrup, golden syrup or honey (note: please specify if you want your batter to be made with water, milk, almond milk or oat milk).
  • Oatmeal and Pancake toppings:
  • Blueberry maple jam
  • Raspberry jam with a caramelised brown sugar crumble
  • Sliced bananas with an almond butter crumble
  • Sliced peaches with creamed honey
  • Toasted pecans and walnuts with an apricot chutney
  • Fresh berries with an almond honey crumble
  • Crepes. Served with brown sugar and lemon OR raspberry jam

  • Sourdough sandwiches. Fillings:
  • Grilled lemongrass chicken and avocado
  • Grilled spicy aubergine and rocket (Vegan)
  • Cheese melt - camembert, cheddar, smoked gouda
  • Smoked salmon and cream cheese with wild garlic
  • Salt beef with wholegrain mustard OR fresh horseradish spread
  • Avocado with miso drizzle and toasted sesame (Vegan)
  • Pickled carrot, daikon, tofu sausage “Bánh mì” style (Vegan)

  • Shredded kale, chickpeas and sun-dried tomatoes with tahini dressing (Vegan)
  • Chicken caesar with crunchy sourdough croutons
  • Green papaya “som tam” salad with spicy lime dressing and dried shrimp
